If I could tell you one thing about how I approach mortgage advice for individuals who are divorcing, it would be:

My philosophy when working with individuals considering or going through a divorce is to sit down and work everything out through numbers.  A divorce is a very emotional situation.  I know.  I have been there.  Sometimes what we want isn't necessarily the best thing for us in the long run.  I always say numbers don't lie. 

What I like to do with all my clients is sit down, figure out where they are financially, where they will be, and figure out what the best next steps should be for them.  We do this together, so there is a clear understanding of where they are going and where they want to be in the end.  I have been helping clients with their mortgages since 2000.

• Create financial analysis to assist customers in choosing the best mortgage product
• Counsel first-time home buyers in the outlying counties to qualify for VHDA certificate
• Analyze client's financial situation and help them determine if it is a good time to sell, buy or refinance
