If I could tell you one thing about how I approach parenting issues, it is:
I am passionate about helping children. Parenting
issues can arise at any time during separation or divorce, and even long after the final
decree of divorce has been entered. My goal is to help parents make decisions during the divorce process, from separation through the post-divorce period, that will ultimately improve the parenting relationship and provide stability to families as they move forward.
BIO:
For the past 16 years I’ve been associated with Divorce Mediation Plus
in Leesburg, Virginia. During my first six years with the firm, my passion for helping children was ignited. For the past 10 years, I've specialized in working specifically with parents in
all stages of separation and divorce. As a parenting specialist, I assist parents in negotiation of a
parenting agreement that is acceptable to everyone and emphasize ways to
improve and strengthen their on-going parenting relationship. I expanded my practice to divorce coaching as I saw how powerful it could be for the individual. As a divorce coach, I assist individual
clients in focusing their emotions to help make their attorney meetings more
productive. This ultimately saves the family both time and money.
I've been a Virginia Supreme Court certified family mediator since 2002. I hold Master's Degrees in both counseling and forensic psychology.
